If the seller does not seem capable of providing quality, authentic products, I will inform you and help you to look for alternative sellers if necessary. Purchasing from reliable sellers and official platforms will reduce the likelihood of problems with your purchases.

  • Translation and communication
    I will translate and communicate important information e.g. product release dates if it is a preorder, defects and other vital information that I think you should know as a consumer. If there is any specific information that you wish to know, please ask.

  • Purchasing and receiving/collection of product

  • Returns / Exchanges
    Where products are found to have visible defects or mistakes, we can conduct returns / exchanges and any other after-sales service where applicable, before the products are shipped to you. (Not applicable for products labelled as second-hand / used items)

  • Storage and consolidation
    Your purchases from different stores can be consolidated and stored for free for up to 90 days from the time of purchase. (60 days for Singapore-bound forwarding service unless otherwise requested.) A free or paid extension may be possible depending on the storage volume at the warehouse. Please ask in advance.

  • Shipping and forwarding of parcels
    This includes packaging and administration procedures for shipping of parcel.

  • Photo-taking of purchased products
    This is available on request (not available for Singapore-bound forwarding service unless otherwise requested). Photos showing the general appearance of the product are free to request, while detailed photos of specific parts will require an additional fee. Please state your interest when you place your order so I can advise you on the necessary fees and make the photography request as soon as the products arrive at the warehouse. However, please be reminded that after-sales service is not applicable for products labelled as second-hand / used items, even if minor defects are found in the photos.

Singapore-bound shipments

For Singapore-bound shipments, free storage is up to 60 days, and there is no photography or verification service. This is because the default service I use for Singapore-bound shipments is a pure forwarding service which is more economical. If you require longer storage, product verification and photography, please inform me when placing your order and I will direct your parcel to the international warehouse.

Forwarding/Consolidation without purchase

I can provide you with a local address to consolidate and forward your purchases. The fees will depend on how many parcels there are, and what other specific services are required. Please note that packages may have to be opened for checking to ensure that they do not contain illegal products. Please contact me with the relevant information about your shipment so I can advise you further.

The payable amount consists of 2 parts:

Explanation about service fees:

Taobao:

  • 10% of item price + domestic shipping fee within China.

  • 15% if the order is more complex, such as pre-orders with payments made over different periods, or made-to-order cosplay and clothing where additional communication with the seller is necessary.

Xianyu, Lofter, Xiaohongshu:

  • 20% of item price + domestic shipping fee within China, with a 3 USD / 5 SGD handling fee for each item that is priced below 150rmb (inclusive of domestic postage)

Additional information:

  • Payment platform fees (e.g. Paypal fees, WISE fees, bank transfer fees) are billable expenses.

  • Domestic Shipping Fees vary based on weight and distance. It's usually free or up to 15rmb for commercial platforms like Taobao. For second-hand marketplaces, it's 8-25 rmb with some sellers opting for payment on delivery, so the final postage cost is only determined upon arrival. If the exact domestic postage isn't known, I'll bill you based on my estimate. Any difference between the estimate and the actual cost will be settled in the final shipping payment.

  • I accept payments in SGD or USD (via WISE only). I use live currency exchange rates, which are generally close to the rates you'll find on reliable sources. However, these rates can fluctuate slightly throughout the day. Your payment platform (especially PayPal) might also add their own currency exchange fees to the final amount.

2) International shipping fees

  • Payment is only required when you make arrangements to have your purchases shipped to you.

  • Includes shipping fees, packaging costs and associated administrative costs (e.g. some couriers charge customs clearance fees).

  • I do not charge additional handling fees. However, payment platform fees (i.e. Paypal fees, WISE fees, bank transfer fees) are billable expenses.

  • The shipping rates list is no longer published due to fluctuating shipping rates, and courier services charging by volumetric weight if it is higher than physical weight. Volumetric weight is difficult to estimate without having the products and packaging materials at hand.

  • At the time of shipping, I will recommend the most economical express shipping method that is able to reach you within a month. If you have specific requests for shipping, please let me know in advance.

  • Only shipping methods with tracking can be used.

  • Domestic postage varies based on types of delivery methods or pick-up service. It ranges from 2- 5 SGD for commercial platforms like Shopee. I will select the most economical option that is convenient and trackable.

  • Domestic postage can range widely for second-hand marketplaces like Carousell. In such cases, I will try to obtain the domestic shipping fee quote before billing you. Any difference between the estimate and the actual cost will be settled in the final shipping payment.

  • Higher service fees will be charged for purchasing from brick-and-mortar stores, events and sales listings where the only collection method is meet-up instead of postage. The fees charged will depend on how much time and effort it will require to procure the item, as well as the cost of it. I will inform you about the exact fee before finalising your order, but it generally starts from 30% of the item price.

Once you engage my shopping service, it is an indication that you have read and accepted all the terms and conditions.


By placing an order with me, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions.

1. Items I Can Purchase

  • I can purchase items from various e-commerce platforms, including those with pre-order or split-payment options. However, pre-orders requiring down payments are non-refundable, even if the release date is delayed.

  • I do not handle pre-orders requiring participation in messenger groups for updates and payments. Please consider looking for the final product on Xianyu as some people would have lost interest by the time the product is released.

In line with international export regulations, I cannot purchase the following items:

  • Flammable items

  • Precious metals (gold, silver)

  • Cigarettes

  • Fresh food

  • Live animals

  • Plants (including seeds and flowers)

  • Hazardous products like weapons, including realistic props

  • Alcohol (this requires a special license)

The above list is non-exhaustive and you are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable import regulations in your country.

Some product types may be restricted or incur higher shipping costs due to shipping regulations. These include:

  • Food products (including dried goods and snacks)

  • Products containing powder or liquid

  • Products containing magnetic fields or batteries

  • Products with parts resembling weapons, even including scale figures and miniatures

2. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Order changes can be made before I purchase the items.

  • Once an order is placed, any changes or cancellations, if approved by the seller, may incur additional charges.

  • If your entire order hinges on the availability of specific item(s), you must state this upfront in your order. I will prioritise securing these items. Cancelling the rest of the order due to key items being out of stock is not permitted.

  • Cancellations after payment is made are generally allowed if:

  • The item is out of stock.

  • The main item of a set is out of stock.

  • Waiting time is unreasonably extended (subject to the seller's policies).

  • The seller sent a wrong or defective item. However, the default solution is for the item to be returned and the seller to do an exchange.

  • In case of a refund, payment platform fees (i.e. Paypal fees and WISE fees, international bank transfer fees) are non-refundable.

  • This includes situations where a seller initially confirms stock availability but later discovers an error, changes their mind (happens on secondhand marketplaces), or realizes they misjudged their stock levels.

  • To avoid losing these fees, you have the option to leave the funds with me to use towards a future purchase.

3. Delivery Timeframes

  • I cannot guarantee on-time delivery dates as I cannot control the schedules of the sellers and third-party couriers. I will, however, provide transparent communication throughout the process and do my best to address any unforeseen delays.

  • Preorders for niche products from indie stores are often subject to significant delays beyond the original promised deadline. This is because the factories which production is outsourced to tend to prioritise mainstream goods over niche products. While I can attempt to cancel an order forcibly if a seller refuses a refund, doing so may result in my being blacklisted, which is not an option as it would affect my ability to fulfill orders for other customers. Please do not commit to a preorder unless you are prepared for potential delays.

  • Typical local delivery time frames for in-stock items are within one week, barring unforeseen circumstances.

  • International delivery timeframes will depend on your choice of shipping method.

4. Quality Checks & Product Verification

These checks are performed when the item reaches the local warehouse / destination address. If any issues are found, we will conduct an exchange.

Basic checks are performed, including:

  • Quantity verification

  • Exception: Bulk purchases concerning small items (e.g. buttons) cannot be verified

  • General color accuracy

  • The general colour of the items will be checked but not the specific shade. Lighting in different areas and monitor calibration can differ, causing colours to appear in different shades and is not grounds for rejecting an item.

  • Size

  • We will check the size according to the size label.

  • Items can be manually measured for a fee. Please request it in your order if necessary.

  • Design/style

  • Where there are multiple variants available, we will look at the overall design to ensure the seller sent out the correct variant.

  • Details are not within the scope of inspection.

  • Photos/videos of details can be requested for a fee so you can do your own checks. Please request it in your order if necessary.

I do not conduct in-depth checks, including:

  • Authenticity of product

  • Functionality testing

  • Verification of complicated items with multiple parts

  • Verification of free gifts/bonus items

About second-hand items:

  • On second-hand market places, sellers are not expected or required to provide comprehensive after-sales service, or allow returns and exchanges.

  • Unless the item is significantly different than stated, damaged or missing, I am unable to negotiate with the seller regarding returns or refunds.

  • When you buy second-hand items, you acknowledge that the product will not be in the same condition as when it was first released, even if the seller claims it’s new or barely used. Additionally, there could be minor defects or functionality issues that the seller didn’t notice or capture in photographs/videos.

Removal of product packaging for inspection:

  • Brand-new and sealed products may be opened for inspection.

  • If you wish to have the packaging preserved in unopened condition, please inform me when placing your order. Otherwise, the warehouse personnel will use their discretion.

  • It may not be possible to check and verify items if the packaging cannot be removed.

5. Packaging, Shipping and Insurance

Packing

  • Items are packed using appropriate materials to minimize damage during transit. This includes corrugated cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, air packets and other fillers to cushion spaces where necessary.

  • Attempts will be made to reduce the overall size of the package, while retaining as many of the individual packing boxes that your products arrived in, to provide as much protection as possible for your purchases.

  • If you have specific packaging requirements, please inform me in advance.

  • Despite our best efforts, packages may arrive with some damage due to challenges such as high volumes of packages and extreme weather. If your package arrives damaged but the contents are unaffected, no further action is needed. If you need to file a claim due to products being damaged in transit, please refer to this page.

Shipping

  • Your purchases will be declared at their actual value unless otherwise instructed by you or the courier.

  • While I will ensure proper documentation and adherence to shipping guidelines, you are solely responsible for understanding and fulfilling your local customs regulations, including any applicable duties or taxes.

  • I cannot guarantee the availability of specific couriers. If you have a preferred courier, please let me know in advance, and I'll do my best to check their availability. However, due to tight shipping capacity, some couriers may become suddenly unavailable or experience delays. In such cases, I'll recommend the best available alternatives.

Insurance

  • Please consider purchasing full insurance for valuable items shipped from China, and for eligible shipping methods from Singapore and Taiwan. This protects you beyond the standard courier liability limits.

  • The typical insurance cost is around 2% of the value that you wish to insure your package for.

  • If you intend to insure your package, please inform me in advance so I can advise you on the type of shipping method to use and the cost of insurance.

  • Insurance is not available for breakable or fragile items and couriers do not accept liability. Please do not purchase such items if you cannot risk having them damaged during shipping.

6. Missing or Damaged Shipments and Items

I am not liable for damage or loss caused by shipping carriers, but I will assist you in filing claims for such issues.

Upon receiving your package:

  • Regardless whether there is damage, take photos of the outer packaging, and an unboxing video. While not absolutely necessary, it maximizes your chance of a successful claim.

  • Do not cut too deeply into your package with your scissors or knife, to avoid accidentally damage the contents inside.

  • If there are any issues with your package, you must contact me within 1 week from receiving your package.

Missing / Damaged items:

  • If any items are damaged, please take photographs of the damage.

  • If a part of a set or item is missing, photograph the parts that you did receive.

  • Do not dispose of any product packaging until the issue is resolved.

  • Please send all evidence to me with an explanation of the problem, and I will investigate and get back to you with a solution.

Missing package / abnormal tracking status:

  • If your package is taking longer than expected, or if the tracking information appears unusual, reach out to me immediately so I can investigate with the courier.

  • If tracking shows "Delivered" but you haven't received it, check with neighbors or anyone with access to your building in case they accepted the package. Call the number of the local office if you can't find the package.

  • For delays occurring within your country, contact the local courier office directly for more information.

  • Regularly monitor your tracking information until your package arrives. It's important not to assume the post office will notify you of delivery issues. I've had cases where packages were returned due to missed delivery attempts and lack of notification, resulting in missed claim deadlines. Your proactive tracking helps ensure a smooth delivery!

Shipping Damage Claims:

  • Successful claims against damage or loss caused by shipping carriers are not guaranteed, and may be limited by declared values and standard courier liability limits.

  • As recommended on this page, please consider purchasing insurance for valuable items to protect against potential damage or loss during transit.

7. After-Sales Service for Product Issues

  • If you encounter issues with product quality, accuracy, or functionality, please report them to me within one week of receiving your package. Provide clear photos and videos to support your claim.

  • Refunds & Exchanges: Please be aware that many platforms require returns for refunds or exchanges, which can be challenging for international customers due to shipping costs and timeframes. Additionally, return windows may be short. However, some sellers may offer replacements without requiring a return.

  • Missing Parts: While most sellers will send missing parts to the local receiving address at no cost, you are responsible for the international shipping fee to have them delivered to you. For small items and non-urgent cases, consider combining them with a future order to save on shipping costs.

  • My Role & Limitations: I will assist in communicating with the seller on your behalf. However, I cannot guarantee a resolution, compensation, or be held liable for any loss incurred.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • I understand and respect the importance of protecting your privacy. I handle your order information and personal details with care and only share the minimum necessary to fulfill your purchase.

  • Your shipping information will be provided to essential third parties involved in processing and delivering your order, such as shipping companies and logistics providers.

  • While these entities are subject to privacy laws in their respective countries (China, Taiwan, Singapore, and your destination country), it's important to acknowledge that no system is entirely immune to potential security risks, and I cannot be held liable for breaches or issues arising from third-party data handling.

  • If neither of the above works for you, take a screenshot of the listing that clearly displays the seller's ID, item name and price, and upload it to an online picture storage album. My recommended picture storage albums are Imgur and Google Photos. Please do not send attachments.

  • As this method is time-consuming for me to extract the listings, if you have a large order during peak period, I may have to decline your order or prioritise other orders over yours. I seek your kind understanding, and you may consider checking with me on my availability before you start compiling the sceenshots.

Identifying whether a listing is for a split-payment pre-order, full-payment pre-order, instock item, or not for sale.

Most common items on Taobao are for direct sale. But niche items typically adopt a made-to-order system, where manufacturing only begins after an order is placed, or a minimum order is achieved. Such orders often require a downpayment and incur waiting times of weeks to even months.

Useful terms that may show up in the item name:

  • 定金 / ding金:Downpayment (usually for a pre-order). The listed price is typically significantly lower than the actual price.

  • 预定:Preorder

  • 尾款 / 尾kuan: Remainder payment of a preorder. You can’t purchase it if you did not participate in said preorder.

  • 定做 / 定制: Make to order

  • 现货:In stock

  • 无现货: No available stock (in other words, it must be pre-ordered)

The following are more common for Xianyu and these are not for sale:

  • 收 / 求: “Want To Buy”

  • 挂: For showcase (may sell later, not to be confused with 挂人 which is a complaining post about a rouge buyer/seller)

  • 展示: For showcase only

In addition, the listing prices may not be the actual item price. Aside from reasons mentioned above, there may be additional costs associated with certain products that are not visible in the listing, such as custom sizing.Don't worry if you're not sure. You can submit your order and I'll inform you if the prices differ significantly from listed, before requiring your payment or commitment.

Help with looking for specific items and holy grails

Taobao and Xianyu have a very effective image search feature. I strongly recommend that you try this first if you have access to this feature.

  • Suggest keywords and places to search

  • Create a want-to-buy listing on Xianyu for free.

Please send your request through the order form:

  • Include the official webpage / social media post about the product.

  • Include pictures of the exact model / variant that you're looking for. Upload the pictures in an online photo album like Imgur or Google Photos. Do not send attachments.

  • Specifyc the product name, model and variant where applicable.

Group ordering to save shipping fees and qualify for store discounts

I accept large orders, and will treat each group order as single order with a single point of communication. You are required to organise each person's orders yourself.Reminders:

  • Most Taobao stores offer free postage, or postage cost is low.

  • Most international shipping methods charge by volume rather than physical weight. The bulkier your shipment, the more expensive it will be.

  • Large packages are at greater risk of being subjected to customs inspection, resulting in delays.

  • Cost-wise, it is generally not worth the effort to do a group order, unless everyone's purchases are small in volume, or the store is offering a significant benefit for a minimum spend.

How clothes and shoe sizing work

Always read the specific measurements to determine which label fits you best.

Clothes

Translations for common body / clothing parts, and relevant terms:

  • 身高: Height

  • 肩宽/肩寬: Shoulder width

  • 胸围/胸圍: Bust

  • 腰围/腰圍: Waist

  • 臀围/臀圍: Hips

  • 衣长/衣長: Length of whole outfit / Length of top

  • 裤长/褲長: Length of pants

  • 裙长/裙長: Length of skirt, may sometimes refer to length of a whole dress too

  • 袖长/袖長: Length of sleeve

  • 男: Male size

  • 女: Female size

Reminders:

  • All sizes are in cm

  • Measurements are not 100% accurate for all garments. Please allow a +/-3cm buffer.

  • Clothes fit differently on different body types. It can be difficult to determine how a piece of clothing will look on you without you trying it on.


Shoes

  • Unless otherwise stated, or if shoes are imported / purchased from other countries, all size labels follow Chinese sizes.

  • This is obtained by measuring the length of your sole to find its corresponding size label (see chart below).

  • The upper row indicates the Chinese shoe size while the lower row indicates the corresponding length of sole in mm.

  • Alternatively, refer to an international size chart for conversion

Reminders:

  • Some shoes may run large or small, and this information may only be available in the customers’ reviews.

  • Shoe fit can be subjective. It is not uncommon to see conflicting reviews about shoes running too large or small for the same pair of shoes in the same size.

Providing measurements for custom-sizing

  • Sellers will usually have a list of required measurements in cm.

  • When placing the order, it is not necessary to provide the measurements until I consult with the seller.

  • But you should be ready to provide these measurements as soon as possible to facilitate quick processing of your order.

  • The following is typical information that is required:

Clothing:

  • Basic Information / Measurements (in cm): Height, bust, waist, hips, shoulder width, gender.

  • Additional Measurements: Provide extra measurements for sleeve length, top/skirt length, arm circumference, etc., if relevant to the garment.

  • Keep it Simple: Avoid overly detailed measurements. For example, for pants, provide your desired length rather than breaking it down into thigh, calf, etc.

  • Accuracy & Expectations: A 100% perfect fit cannot be guaranteed for online custom tailoring. You may need alterations from a local tailor for optimal fit.

Footwear:

  • For Boots: Gender, Chinese shoe size, boot height, circumference of the boot opening (in cm).

  • For Shoes (below ankle): Chinese shoe size.

  • My service fees may appear higher because I work with live exchange rates. I do not incorporate hidden fees into inflated currency exchange rates unlike some other shopping services.

  • I’m based in Singapore and provide shopping services in other countries through proxies, which means that my fees are subject to my proxies' fees, cross-border transaction fees and currency exchange rates.

  • I may be able to provide discounts for high-value purchases, but this is subject to agreement with the proxies I work with.

  • If you’re based in Singapore, I accept local payments via local bank transfers & Paynow/Paylah/GooglePay. Cash on meet-up is also a possible option. Please contact me directly to ask about prices in SGD

  • I accept overseas payments via Paypal & any payment method that uses paypal as a payment platform, such as e-check and credit / debit card. I also accept payments via Wise and Revolut.

  • You are responsible for all platform payment fees incurred on your end. Paypal fees are a billable expense.

  • All international purchases can be made via Paypal and are entitled to seller protection

Shipping

  • The most economical shipping method is registered airmail, which takes about 1 – 2 weeks, depending on your country.

  • Fedex is recommended for high-value purchases or items that you require fast.

  • International shipping from Singapore is expensive. I am happy to give you a shipping fee estimate but if you're looking to get a bargain, this is not the place for you as shipping may cost more than the item itself.

  • I try to reuse packaging from my own parcels, but where it is not possible, I will purchase packaging from the post office. Depending on the value of the items you're buying, I may cover the cost, or bill you for it.

Important information about pre-owned items

  • I strive to provide accurate descriptions and photos, including any flaws. However, please note:
    - "Like New" signifies a pre-owned item in good condition, but it may show subtle signs of age or use.
    - I may not be able to identify every imperfection, especially those related to aging (fading, discoloration) if I don't have a brand-new item for comparison.

  • What you see in the photos is what you get, though some colour variation may occur due to lighting and screen differences.

  • I live with cats: While I clean all items before shipping, despite my best efforts, some cat hair may be present.

  • Smoke-Free Home: My home is smoke-free.
